Healthy Chicken Teriyaki Recipe [using Coconut Oil]

  1. Amna's Pure Coconut Oil: 1 Table spoon
  2. Chicken Thighs (boneless): 1.5 Pounds
  3. Soy Sauce: 1/4 Cup
  4. Honey: 3 Table spoons
  5. Onion (chopped): 1 Table spoon
  6. Vinegar: 1 Table spoon
  7. Garlic (minced): 1 Table spoon


  1. In a small bowl, whisk the soy sauce, sugar, coconut oil, onions, vinegar, honey and garlic.
  2. Add the chicken and massage the chicken in the marinade.
  3. Refrigerate overnight.
  4. When ready to cook, heat an oiled grill on medium high heat.
  5. Cook the chicken properly (approximately 5 minutes on each side).
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the chicken to serve with boiled rice.
